You own your own equipment and you know how to use it well. You're open to learning new things and are easy to work with. You don't mind three-day trips once or twice a week and have a clean driving record to get you there and back safely.
What You'll Do
Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers
Load and unload cargo
Record cargo deliveries
Refuel and clean vehicle
Report road incidents to the dispatcher
Follow traffic laws
Inspect trucks and record issues
Follow accident procedures
Keep an Hours of Service log and log hours
Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
Plan routes using the GPS system
Get goods to client on time
Maintain a positive attitude with customers
Keep commercial driver license up to date
Your Additional Qualifications
Applicant must be older than 23 years old
Must have CDL with proper endorsements
No more than four moving violations in the past three years
No more than two moving violations in the past 12 months
Two years of driving experience
No DWI/DUI in last 10 years and no failed or refused drug testing
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen and road test
Applications must be submitted on forms provided by B&B Trucking
Must provide valid names, addresses, and phone numbers of previous employers
